Could be orifice tube, could be overfilled. That's definitely incorrect.

2001 Tahoe high presure on low side of A/C

The pressure expected is dependent on ambient temperature, so check an r134a chart. It the clutch disengages and the compressor no longer spins, then pressure should rise. Some fake numbers as example. The high side will be around 175psi when low is 40psi. When the system is off it'll be at a...

It was time for a new pump setup, starting seeing contamination of the plugs, the level sender would become intermittent. Guess after 25 years it did well.

I'm a monster and just spray TB cleaner all over the fittings and intake to locate leaks.

    Gear ratio

You'll enjoy what most tuners are doing. Increasing shift pressures, shift timing and allowing PE to kick in sooner. Without PE the vehicle runs in closed loop, 14.7 as the target AFR and the according amount of timing. So it's pretty restricted, meets emissions and limits torque output to the...

Most of what folks accomplish with the tuning is removing the "limits" GM provides. Everything is about tradeoffs. Even decreasing the PE delay will result in less fuel economy and more overall drivetrain wear. You have to decide if the priority is power or conservativism with the goal of...

Time to disable some of the torque management and traction control. Do note these exist to protect the drivetrain from damage. However, it'll help with the burnout goal. The PCM pulls torque during potential wheelspin events by default. The other thing for burnouts is less traction, so run a...

I'm not sponsored by Dorman, but maybe I should be. The right rear exhaust manifold bolt had long broken off in the head prior to my ownership. It's a common problem due to thermal cycling, mixed expansion rates of these three materials and the crappy GM fasteners. Installed this bracket to...

Inconsistently odd fuel delivery issues (I THINK?)

I would measure fuel pressure if you're leaning towards it being a fueling issue.

Tried this a few weeks ago. That's a broken extractor. Took it to a local exhaust shop and they said, "You can't get those out!" I nodded in obvious agreement gesturing towards the broken extractor. They pointed me towards someone that could weld on the cast iron, since my goal was just a...

Features deleted by GM (gmt800 life cycle)

Yeah, I just know when buying an exhaust manifold for a 6l 2500 that the EGR opening disappears when looking at the 2004 MY. Earlier years will still have it at rockauto or other parts stores. Even the GM OEM offering has the EGR provision prior to 04 on those websites.

Not sure if on the list, but the EGR was deleted in 2004. (At least true for the LQ4, not sure how accurate on other engines.)
