I removed all the badges off of my new to me 03 HD. No problems with the paint.

I found out that the blend door on my truck wasnt closing all the way and replaced the actuator and it helped out alot. I know a bigger radiator will not help the ac at all but Im doing it more for the OE electric fan swap that I know will help on a hot day sitting in trafic.

My 99 does the something on very hot days 105 plus I found that if I turn it all off for a few minutes and turn it back on it starts cooling again. I would also service the trans and while you where down there Id install a corvette servo. IMO one of the cheapest mods you can do on these trucks that you will see an dramatic improvement.

Id start with the basics like a tune up and fixing whats wrong that 4.8 should tow that much weight fine stock.

When mine went out I replaced it with a 145 amp bolted right up and used the same belt.
