Turn signal Mirrors

Hello, I'm a newby to this forum, but a long time Chevy truck enthusiast. I haven't seen this subject discussed in detail. My question is, has anyone swapped out the stock side view mirrors with those having the turn signal arrows. I have power, heated, and auto dimming. The ones I wish to add have turn arrows and puddle lights. Will this be a plug and play, or does it require a rewire job? Also, can they be flashed once installed?

I removed my stock power/heat mirrors and replaced them with factory tow mirrors with the arrow, plug and play no issue, blinks as it should no wiring required

I have also replaced the power extending tow mirrors (all options) on an 05 duramax and switched to the manual pull out mirror that was power and heated (big rectangle ones) both had signal arrows, worked like a charm
