Taking it to a bodyshop, and why that is not a reasonable thing to do where I live... Long island is not a great place to have an older vehicle. I am in NY, we do salt our roads, but I drive it on the beach... it is supposed to be worked. :) Its a 2003 4x4 2500. Mine is not bad all I can see is a hole in the cross over. I have been speaking to someone in Mass... I can't believe this is something hard to figure out. Does the fuel tank rear support crossover interchange between a 2500 suburban/2500 avalanche... and a silverado... I just checked the width... (in the rain).. and they are close- harry hild

was about to change the rear shocks on my 2500 avalanche when I noticed a hole in the crossmember that the mount is mounted to. This crossmember also supports the rear of the fuel tank.
