    GT5 4.10 Axles

    I have GT4 3.73 axles on my truck, a junkyard near me has a 2006 Silverado 2500 that rolled, with 4.10's GT5 at 154k on the truck, they are asking $1,000 for both, say they are in great shape. It is about 1/4 the price of quality rebuilt units. Worth it? I would have to do some recalibration...

    Loud Clang While Driving

    Pics for attention, just bombing around yesterday. Today had a loud clang while driving, looked underneath and didn't see anything, drove around town doing errands and didn't hear it again, anyone have this happen? Maybe a rock caught in the tire hit the exhaust.

    I think I overheated my TC, it is a 246 NP8 in a 99 Sierra 2500. Appears to be working for now. I have seen them for $200 used on fb marketplace, AZ has a Zumbrota for like $1500 or so, and a GM Reman is like $2300, though I have not called the AC Delco place to confim that, could be more...
