2000 K1500 5.3 Fuel Pump Replacement
Puzzler...maybe an intermittent injector is leaking, causing a flooded condition? Next time it won't fire, crank with the gas pedal pressed all the way in. That'll put it into clear flood mode briefly cuts off fuel to the injectors. If you have a bidireccional scanner, try to do an injector...- stutaeng

When you have both bank lean and the numbers are close, you can suspect fuel delivery, so check fuel pressure... To see if you have a vacuum leak, you monitor fuel trims at idle, then rev tbe engine and the fuel trims should improve. Yours did at 2500 somewhat. Can you check and rev a bit...- stutaeng

Reupholstering headliner
Very nice! Like a Professional did it! This is gonna be a motivator for me. Headliner is something most guys driving old vehicles neglect (well me really, LOL), but like the first thing others' see when they ride with you -

Sun Roof Seal?
No, but my 06 suburban sunroof leaks, and it's annoying... I've actually just thought about sealing it up. I also have to do my headliner, on all my GMT800s actually. -

Nice! Welcome to the cool club of the GMT800s from Texas! I've got a similar rig (2004 with the 6.0) I've been slowly fixing. I painted the hood and roof of mine last year, and some interior work. Great trucks!- stutaeng

You are swapping from rear leaf springs to coil springs? What's the logic with that if you don't mind sharing? A lot of folks that drive SUVs wish they had leafs when hooking up a trailer and stuff? I'm guessing truck won't be used for truck duties afterwards, or maybe lighter duties?- stutaeng

We drive a lot, so I have been buying oil filters in 6- or 12-packs from RA. Using Costco oil on sale or Supertech from WallyWorld. Oh wow! Another cool GMT800! Welcome from Texas! Yes, unfortunately deleting the console will delete the rear vents. I deleted the console on my 1999 Silverado extended cab. The SUVs do have vents on the headliner, but that comes from the rear AC system. I wish they would have designed a...- stutaeng

GMT T1XX brake upgrade
I did the 4 pistom caliper brake upgrade on my 1999 Silverado. I'm running some 18" wheels from like 2014-ish Tahoe. I just had to do a bit of grinding on tbe calipers. I've put about 6-8k miles on it. Works great! I think it was around $550 for calipers, rotors and pads from Rockauto.com- stutaeng
