    Fabricator / Mechanic LB

I might make the suggestion to learn how to do it yourself. Arc welding is pretty easy to learn, requires very little equipment, and is pretty cheap as well. MIG is really easy to learn, but requires more upfront cost. My first stick welder was like $75 and I used the crap out of it. I've...

New Badges for Military Service Members, LEO, FireFighters and EMT

I suspect many active law enforcement members will not want the badge. The general atmosphere in the US is not what I would call LEO friendly at the moment. Still pretty cool anyway.

    My new truck 06 2500HD CCSB 6.0 4L80 4x4

Welcome! That's a pretty sweet looking truck. As far as AC goes, if you really need AC in the back, you can add an electric AC later for just the back.

You got some good pics for it being so buried.

Inconsistently odd fuel delivery issues (I THINK?)

Tape a fuel pressure gauge to the windshield and drive it around.

    New guy from Germany

Welcome from Arizona! Sharp looking truck. I'm going to have to check to see if my VIN is there, too.

Inconsistently odd fuel delivery issues (I THINK?)

If you want to make sure it's not the relay, you can check the control side. Rig up a little test light to the "Prime" spot in the underhood fuse box. Right next to the fuel pump relay, there's a single receptacle. This is hot when the fuel pump is energized. It allows priming the truck without...

Inconsistently odd fuel delivery issues (I THINK?)

No, but it does mean dropping the tank and getting at it. Fuel Pump Strainer is the technical name.

Inconsistently odd fuel delivery issues (I THINK?)

Going back to my first truck, it was my fuel sock that caused similar issues. Granted it wasn't a GMT800, but that's also a non-zero chance to be plugged up.

Parts and Labor Guide FOR FREE

Finally downloaded it to my automotive laptop. Played around with it for a while. Seems pretty awesome. Getting ready to set up an LLC and start doing the mobile stuff in earnest.

    Narrowing

2 inches narrower is tough for the whole frame. I've narrowed a rear axle about 5" to fit under a '72. Might be better off looking at wheels with more backspacing. Could probably gain an inch on each side that way. I don't know if you could find wheels to do two inches more.

    Hello from the BC interior!

Welcome to the forum! Interesting look without the front valence. Kinda dig it.

    Greats from East Germany

Welcome to the forum! That's a pretty desirable truck, even here. As long as you stay current on your preventative maintenance, it should give you a very long service life.

I didn't even know about it until afterward. Looking at it, seems you may be able to. Definitely worth a try.

Parts and Labor Guide FOR FREE

Yeah, at the bottom tier, but it has already saved me several hundred dollars. It's definitely worth it. You get online and phone access to the pro site and app. It's way more handy than I thought it would be.

    New Guy here

If the entire panel was loose, it wasn't installed correctly. The arm rest/door pull hooks are enough to retain most of the panel with the bottom hooks doing the rest. Pop out the insert around the door release lever. Slide the panel over the lever and place it against the door, higher than you...

Return style fuel system on a 2005

Another reason high performance applications use it is to prevent large air pockets. My nitrous system runs a return style regulator so I don't have to worry about leaning out when the system hits.

    New Guy here

I wouldn't worry about that clip. IIRC, the top of the panel hooks in the window channel and the arm rest hook will retain the rest.
