it actually doesnt look all that bad to me, thats a good example that if you could afford the lift but you couldnt quite afford rims and tires, you could rock it like that for a while, i mean i would util i could get rims and tires- silverado13

people also go with 4l80es because they are a little more popular, i mean they have been puting them in 1 tons since the 90s, as where they only put 4l70es in a few vehicles- silverado13

thats impossible around here, parts go too fast, if you found a newer truck, and didnt get the radiator and fans, the next time you went the radiator would be gone- silverado13

yeah, i dont ever recommend a 4l80e unless you are making some racecar, or going to be towing ALOT of weight daily, 4l70e would be good- silverado13

they mount the same but aparently the newer one is bigger but i dont know, i might buy the fans first, see if it bolts up, if not, then buy a new radiator- silverado13

more strength, think about it, the trailblazer SS has a 4l70e, and from the factory has a 400 hp LS2, and that tranny is designed to handle that 400 hp and have a 100,000 mile warranty from the dealer, so realistically it can probbaly handle 550 hp from the factory, as to where a standard 4l60...- silverado13

Need info on corvette servos
no on the passenger side of the transmission there is a round piece of casting with a cover on it, there is a big snap ring that hold it all together, i had to remove the mid pipe when i did mine, but i was doing headers at the same time so it wasnt a big deal...- silverado13
