4silverado's 2004 Silverado
Got some maintenance done today. Last time the battery was replaced was back in January 2019, Advance Auto Parts Silver. It was nearing time for replacement. Replaced it with a Walmart Everstart Plus (2 year warranty).- 4silverado

On one of my trucks, the drivers side switch panel clip broke. I used plastic weld to glue it to the door. I don’t know if the pull strap uses a similar clip.- 4silverado

My last truck was spiral gray on top and silver on bottom. I’ve seen a few with that goldish color on bottom. Thing I thought was weird about those, the tailgate is all 1 color even though that stripe follows the lower body line. I had to get this pic from my album on ss- 4silverado

Extended cab speakers
Whenever I’ve had to trim to fit larger speakers, I use this style of sheet metal nibbler. It leaves a cleaner cut than regular tin snips.- 4silverado

This is something that always seems to come up …… what speakers fit in the rear extended cab doors. I wanted to document what I know works. It doesn’t mean you have to go the route I did. I bought a set of the replacement LED lights off of Amazon. Easy install and super bright. Even noticed it lit the area behind the truck better; see behind through the camera. I’ll see about getting a night picture later.- 4silverado

Dying bumper pad and valance
You could also paint it to match or there is always Plastidip. My lower air dam was painted with Duplicolor Custom Wrap, equivalent to Plastidip, but in Midnight Cherry Matte. I’ve had 4 extended cabs from 2002 through 2004; 3 of them were cat eyes. When I had the 02, I thought they were ugly. Now, well I’ll probably be buried in one.- 4silverado
