Because people like photos and i finally got around to it. And 1 extra with my dads 1500 that he let me drive because none of my GMT400's have a/c, and its what made me decide i wanted a 800 too. Oh really, that sounds ok. I havent picked up a Haynes manual yet. When i did my 94 K1500 i was exhausted by the time i had got everything out of the way so i could unbolt the manifold! Youtube videos have made it look easy too, but i have learned my lesson from trusting them exclusively...- SK101

If you mean this thing. Is fairly simple, read it when the engine is running. If the indicator gets to the red your filter is blocked. If your filter is blocked the suction on the gauge side of the system is strong enough to overcome the spring and moves the disc/plunger. Clean or replace the...- SK101

I have some kind comparison data for those of you who know about such things. The left hand data is a 2003, essentially the same truck. The added right hand data is the 2004 that runs rough. Dads truck was warm at the time and mine was cold.- SK101

Oh and i also get abs code C0268 motor stalled, just in case they share something. This truck was an estate sale purchase and has sat for some time (inside) judging from the rust on the rotors.- SK101

Its an autel al 549. It doesn't seem to do misfire counts. As with everything these days there's no instruction book other than a pdf online. The live data told me my tps was at 13% at idle so i blasted it with intake cleaner, it was very dirty, and got it to fluctuate between 3 and 5%. But...- SK101

I just got myself a cheap scanner to try and figure out my random misfire code but came up with the usual problem of not having the knowledge to go along with it. What should some of these numbers be when they are ok? The only thing i know for sure is the ignition advance wanders by 30 degrees...- SK101
