From '94-'96, this is true, but before that ... From '91-'93, the 4.3L LB4 V6 was available for 9C6s and fleet orders. Drove several LB4 & L99 Caprices as a cabbie, but since I can't prove either of those, here you go...

If one were to look up the stats for a TrailBlazer 6inline's converter, those stats apply as applied up against a TrailBlazer's 6inline. If you use a converter spec'd to be mated to a 4.2L 6inline, and instead mate it to a 5.3L V8, its stall speed will go up several hundred RpM. In other words...

    My new truck 06 2500HD CCSB 6.0 4L80 4x4

Used to own a '94 Cadillac Fleetwood. Had no center console - had two front seats that when they line up right, the 3rd seat in the middle works better. Fold that 3rd seatback down and it had a small storage cubby inside the armrest. ANYWAY Although it did not have a 'true' center console, it...

Nearly all converters that have a higher stall speed are 'looser', but NOT all of them. Let's say that you're parallel parking a 220" Suburban in a 232" parking space between two other vehicles with both their drivers dozing off inside. The looser the converter is, the harder it'll be to...

    My new truck 06 2500HD CCSB 6.0 4L80 4x4

No, I misunderstood. Looking more closely at the pic above, looks a lot like whatever I deleted from my Tahoe, so I could add a pickup truck's central seat, just that mine did not have any provisions for any HVAC; I guess that one does? So let me rephrase: When one deletes that very long front...

    My new truck 06 2500HD CCSB 6.0 4L80 4x4

If the rear console is deleted, what happens to whatever tubing/piping brought HVAC air to the rear console?

    GMT T1XX brake upgrade

Most of the 18" wheels that do not clear 4pistons caliper are 2018 or older. 2019 & younger 18" wheels should clear 4piston calipers just fine. This may only mean that GM never bothered to pair 6piston calipers with those / your wheels, so GM have nothing useful to say about that pairing.

    GMT T1XX brake upgrade

You likely do not need the Brembo 6piston caliper, though I get why anyone would want them. Since I think EVERYONE should own the 4 piston calipers, let me focus on that here. 4piston calipers require a wheel of a certain shape. Think I found a (the?) GM OE 17" wheel that works with the 4piston...

    Gear ratio

It's not an opinion, 4.8L will never have much torque, and you gave up power under 2500RpM for power at higher RpMs. If you find a converter that will maintain low-throttle drivability AND stall at a higher RpM, you're still never getting any MpGs back. From stop sign to stop sign / red light to...

    Gear ratio

Yep. To be clear, the taller the tire, the more gear. In fact, now that I think about it, if you continue to insist on 33" tires, forget I said 4.10. Depending on your use cases, 4.30 or 4.56. Again, Yep.

    Gear ratio

So far, yea, ok, not surprised at all, even if it's a 2WD. 33" tall tires made your truck (NOT your engine) weaker, and 3.73 ain't much to begin with. 4.10 would improve the tow rating for a very good reason. (GM did not offer 4.30 for this truck because they offer stronger trucks.) Long story...

Inconsistently odd fuel delivery issues (I THINK?)

Fuel pressure never went under 48psi, which is within L59 spec. https://charm.li/Chevrolet/2002/K%20Tahoe%204WD%20V8-5.3L%20VIN%20Z%20Flex%20Fuel/ Gonna be studying all weekend, I guess ...

Inconsistently odd fuel delivery issues (I THINK?)

Think I understand his position - how is he supposed to test for a symptom he can't reliably replicate? That's definitely on my list. I drove around the neighborhood as he rode along with his fuel pressure gauge on the windshield and a Snap-On scanner in his lap, but despite intentionally...

Inconsistently odd fuel delivery issues (I THINK?)

OK ... The mech who I was hoping would be willing to diagnose this problem, categorically declared that he was unwilling to try to diagnose this particular problem, due to its intermittent nature. Even suggested using a very hot air hair dryer that I'd lend to add heat to the fuel pump, but he...

Inconsistently odd fuel delivery issues (I THINK?)

Although I recently recinched the intake manifold with new gaskets, I'll check it again with a vacuum gauge. Never did try the Crank Position Sensor, which is why I'm willing to load the craposisor into the parts derringer.

Inconsistently odd fuel delivery issues (I THINK?)

Just read this thread. Gonna put a Crank Position Sensor in my parts derringer. Anything else CHEAP, & QUICK & EASY to remove & replace, that I can put in my parts derringer? (Parts cannon is for expensive stuff that is NOT QUICK & EASY to R&R).

Inconsistently odd fuel delivery issues (I THINK?)

Not sure if this is a separate problem, but ... first cold start of any day, soon as it goes into COLD closed loop, and until it reaches full operating temp, if the AC is on, my engine will threaten to / might shut off, no stumble or stutter. If it doesn't shut off, it'll 'idle' as low as 200RpM...
