Sounds like the "VHO" truck, basically GMC's version of the Silverado SS, minus the body kit stuff. The SS's were AWD from 2003-2005 but in 2005 RWD became available as well. Had 40+ people asking about it, and only 1 of them was "real" - showed up first time ready to make the deal, with cash, for only slightly less than my asking price. New fuel cap
My now-departed '06 Intimidator SS has a persistent P0455. First thing I did, like most, is replace the cap. Then the vent solenoid/filter following the TSB with the updated parts and relocation of the filter to prevent dirt intrusion. Then the purge solenoid. I figure the previous owner...- someotherguy

The trick to keeping them nice after polishing is to clear coat them. I've done a few sets where I go the full course of wet sanding, polishing, then you've got to use a mild prep solvent to be sure there's no residues left - then give them a clear coat. Engine oil cooler and transmission oil cooler lines install
I've done the oil cooler lines on both our 06's and I'm not sure how pulling the grille and bumper would help. It's just a fight, regardless. Haven't needed to do the transmission cooler lines, fortunately. Richard- someotherguy

I've seen a nightmare example someone did of color-matching the cladding on one. Looked like poor prep and poor material choice. Also poor taste. White truck, cladding painted white, and chipping/peeling away, I'll take a wild guess and assume they didn't manage to get whatever prior products...- someotherguy

They're the stock wheels for a Hummer H2. A few people have swapped 'em onto their GMT800's and I think they look pretty good! Especially with the Chevy or GMC center caps instead of the Hummer caps, which aren't what I would call attractive. (I think the Hummer caps are styled in a vague...- someotherguy

New to GMT800
Yeah, the plastic bearing doesn't inspire much confidence, but at $30ish it's not a tough decision and so far my replacement has lasted around 80k-ish miles. The shaft replacement was pretty common when these trucks were still fairly new. GM redesigned that shaft multiple times over the years...- someotherguy

Crap.. when I looked it didn't give off any flags.. GM Parts Giant now says out of stock. I just looked on GMPartsdirect and it says it's discontinued. :( eBay has one claiming to be GM OEM for $65, then you look at the "full description" and it says it's a Dorman. Scammers. Richard- someotherguy
