On another note. Nothing broke when the tuner started it up and did his thing. No leaks found. So thats a huge weight off my shoulders. My biggest worry was that I damaged the internal transmission pump when mating to the engine. I had a spacer on my crank when found the torque converter...

Got her home and back in the driveway. Tuner said he made 302rwhp in second gear. I expected more, but it being a 4wd 2500hd with stock trans and converter, all terrain tires, and sticking with the clutch fan may have something to do with that. ;). Im sure the tuner was a bit more conservative...

    Potential oil pressure sensor leak

Start with that. Clean up the area with alcohol and a rag and watch it. If it leaks then get new o-rings or the sensor.

So while since I have the time not messing with the truck, I've been thinking about what's next on the menu. I plan on tackling the interior. Originally I was just going to re-paint the interior back to the medium-neutral tan, get new carpet and head liner and upholstery, but now im thinking i...

Absolutely. Ready to see how much horse power it actually has and the final sound after I finish the exhaust.

She's Alive! Got a basic tune in it for now. No leaks so far. Sounds great. No muffler or exhaust past the Y-pipe yet. Tuner will have it a day or two until I get it back.

Im going to DRTuned in Rockwall. https://www.facebook.com/share/1BmXU8UDUQ/ Tuner recommended i tow it to his shop and let him put in basic tune before we start it up for the break in. Then will tune from there

Next stop is the tuner. Got the outside back together. Will fill fluids tomorrow. Grille and bumper is pretty busted and will be replaced at some point. The interior is ripped apart, but that can wait until after tuning. Still didn't find an answer to the small plug next the bottom of the...

Cig lighter and DLC off with key mod

Honestly I dont know how the 03+ model differ. The video title shows 99-03 models. But again not sure. As far as anything else it affected there was nothing else that I saw that the mod changed other than my cigarette lighter ports

Here is my blinker area. I have 3 large sockets. Not sure why I have 3 considering the blinker assembly only takes two. A white Grey and brown one. Anyone have a clue?

I put on my new headlights and blinker and came across a few connectors that im not sure where they go. First I have an extra socket hanging around the blinker assembly area. Are these extra? Not sure where they could go. Another connector is a green connector that i havent a clue where it...

Finally got my AC line in and put it on. AC is complete minus charging the system, since i actually need the engine running for it. I ditched the oil line conversion idea since I was having difficulty sourcing the correct adapter, so i went back with the OEM engine oil cooler lines. For now...

    Miklo's 2001 Silverado 2500HD Build Thread

Took a few hours today to do a few things on the truck. Just messing with the steering hose routing and some electrical. Decide to mock up the fan shrouds, upper radiator hoses, battery, and my new intake. I needed a bit of motivation to hurry up and finish, and this pretty much does it. At this...

Figured it out. It goes to the back side of the compressor to the high pressure cut out switch. The compressor from UAC came with a blank off plug, so now I need to buy one and install it, which will be easier said than done.

Also, I have a goal of removing the Quick disconnect lines from the transmission cooler side and the engine oil cooler side on the radiator. This will allow me to convert them to -AN fittings. 6AN on the transmission side and 8AN on the oil side. The trans side fittings are 5/8-18 inverted flare...

With the radiator support in place it allowed me to route the front end wiring harness in its final resting place for the most part. Still a few things to tidy up first like getting the correct headlight brackets. Mine were very close but the blinker assembly mounting off and I couldn't put them...
