Good to hear. The purple was a “hey, look what I found” moment. Probably stick with the original plan and use the pre made lines. Do you have a plug next to the A/C dryer that doesn’t go to anything? It’s next to the low pressure switch, which I have plugged in already.- DateNight

Lesson learned - GMT900 Regret, GMT800 Reset
Awesome crew cab! As far as the gmt800-900 debate… I have a 400, 800, 900 in the drive way. I like them all, they all have there little quirks but our 900 has been great and at almost 200k miles it’s been nearly maintenance free other than a battery and brakes. That’s what pushed me to build my truck. I wanted a new whipple f150 but couldn’t justify a 1k month truck payment. So instead I bought a really clean nice gmt800 and I’m doing a V8 swap. I’m probably 15-16k in mine and that’s on a budget so 35k would be fairly reasonable budget for a nice build.- DateNight

I will add alittle more to that earlier post. It is a cam only 5.3 since I knew anything more would hurt the 4l60. So I decided to go way overboard on the 4l60 build to handle whatever came in the future. Turbo, procharger etc. Cammed 5.3, btr Springs Cut and tucked catless Y with a spintech...- DateNight

Thanks a lot. I’m want it to be as reliable as possible and the engine bay to be very stock looking but with little hints of performance. Most people would have done the efan swap but not me, instead I bought new upper and lower fan shrouds for a v8 truck I’m keeping the stock air box but...- DateNight

Little update… Trans is at the shop getting built, a lot of cool parts including the sonnax smart-tech drum 3000-3200 stall is being build also. Hopefully have it by today. short block is assembled. Nothing fancy just a RHP cam, meilings oil pump, head studs etc. This is just to get it...- DateNight
