If I have to, there will be a seal of some sort installed on the top. The looks, I don't care about. -

I park my Tahoe under a canopy. I also, once a year, clear out the drain and clean and lube. I wish I did not have the sun roof but since I do, I am gonna do all I can to not have leaks. -

@stutaeng, even a leaking, not cracked or torn, existing seal, can be brought back to life with a thorough cleaning and the correct silicone lube. IIRC, GM still sells the OE lube, found in owner's manual. -

That Tahoe, after talking to the grandad owner and not the grandson, has the driver's seat tear, was just bought and now needs to sell because of money problems, has no blower because of the resistor but they removed the blower motor and left it out, for some reason. Likely can't get it back in... -

If you run synthetic oil, IMO use the Wix 51522 XP. I want what I have used, WIX, for over 40 years and never had a problem. The Baldwin filter, sounds like the budget filter but again, I could be completely wrong.- ORVietVet

The coolant and transmission fluids, power steering fluid and brake fluid, had all been addressed within the last 10k miles, according to the CarFax. The brake pulsation was obvious and was caused by front and rear pads done at different times within the last 25k miles but were just pad slaps...- ORVietVet

There really isn't a "rear console". There is a front console, in the truck, that has rear seat controls, at the backside of the console, to allow for a/c and heat to be blown out from there. Or I misunderstood what you said. If the console is removed, then the ductwork would need to be capped...- ORVietVet
