In my neighborhood
Not so random. Neighborhood, 4 blocks over, guy collects 2wd 3/4 ton, C20's, and pulls them in the garage, one at a time. Then refurbishes them and leaves the patina and sells them. Nice guy and I have offered to help and he said he does it all himself. None of them are rusted.- ORVietVet

Inconsistently odd fuel delivery issues (I THINK?)
If you don't have a long enough hose to attach to the fuel pressure gauge, do what I did. I went to my local hose/fittings supply house and they made me a custom 8' long hose with correct attachment fittings, on each end. Yes, the right rear also is for the left front. The right front is also for the left rear. 2 part numbers cover all 4 corners. I have them on my 2005 Tahoe.- ORVietVet

Carry a rubber mallet with you and next time it dies and will not restart, tap the bottom of the tank and see if starts right after that. May well be pump if does start that way. BUT, a pressure reading removes all doubt. You may find debris in the tank as well.- ORVietVet

"Obviously, the 1st guess is the fuel pump, which for all I know may be GM OE from the '02 assembly line? I'm asking for any other guesses, BESIDES the fuel pump itself. Who has 1-piece headlights?
I am a big fan of the GMT800 front grill look but not so much for the "cat's eye" look. I especially do not like the look of the GMT900 look. This forum is called GMT800 for a reason. But, as always, it is your truck and your right to do what you want with it. -
