    Also I picked up the exhaust manifold clamp kit from O’Reilly and felt around back there tonight. There’s no heat shield - I guess that came in later model years? It will suck but pretty sure I can get it installed, might need the wife to help underneath the burb spotting bolts

    Check your rear window struts and make sure they’re seated properly on the little nipples Probably the seal if I had to guess - good chance to clean the top of the rear window opening too make sure they’re seated properly water is draining off the right way

    Thanks OR! Another comment was they removed the d/s wheel and inner fender liner and hit it from there

    Here’s a video showing how it goes on.. looks tough not gonna lie lol don’t know how there’s enough room back there Another video guy said he took the front driveshaft off and came from the bottom

    It looks like the clamp kit for the end (rear of engine) uses an available hole on the exhaust manifold to head to have a large bolt tightened against it, plus two more holes on the back of the head to torque the whole bracket down

    I definitely need the bracket on the right, wonder if I should also install the one to the left to to clamp down that entire backside of the manifold.. did GM not put a bolt in that far right hole on the manifold? https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-66009-917-107.aspx

    Would an exhaust leak cause the fuel smell? Broken exhaust manifold bolts confirmed driver side cylinder 7 (only ones) There are no fluid leaks anywhere, no fuel smell in the morning anywhere on the vehicle
