    I was thinking the metal straps. I have several of each out at the farm, but generally find them constrained by space available on cars and trucks. Bare hands or winter gloves are my usual tool, i can still just about fit under the truck without jacking it up

    I agree, they really shouldn't. I cut the cable ties and dug through the taped up wires and found the power plug to disconnect it. I guess i will see it that was the problem or not now.

    I have an aftermarket Fortin command start in my 04 silverado, every 2 weeks the battery is 100% dead when not using the truck (because i still havent tracked down the random misfire code problem) Anyone with an after market command start tell me if this is normal?
