Got it fixed. Turns out the astro start was causing the issue

I have a 2003 Silverado. Can anyone tell me what the terminal connected to a little slide arm on the door lock actuator is for. I replaced the actuator and could find with that terminal. so I just left it unhooked. Everything seems to work fine.

I've got a tough one. I have a 2003 Silverado with a very intermittent battery problem. I have had the truck a year and a half, and three times in that period the battery has gone dead just sitting. The battery is about a year old. Jump it and it starts right up, and is charging. Will work...

Do a search on ebay for an ipod interface. I have one in my 03 Silverado. Plugs into the optional remote cd changer port on the factory radio. You can control the Ipod with the cd buttons on the radio, and it also chargers the Ipod. Works great
