    LED lights

I wouldn't. First they might not fit. Second, and the main reason is how LEDs are. They aren't like halogen or HID bulbs that spread light everywhere. LEDs use chipsets that have specific individual beam patterns. To spread light evenly from an LED bulb you need a projector style...

    USB ports

For the 99-02, we have 3 cigarette lighters. One of them is on the 15a cigar fuse. The other two are on the 20a Aux PWR fuse. (next to fog lp).

Parasitic Draw-2002 Silverado Ext Cab 5.3 - 50amp "IGN B" fuse in under hood fuse block

I can tell you that circuit is SEO and accessory. Have you installed or changed any electrical since this started. I will have to look in mine when I get a chance, but I would suggest going on ebay and searching: PDF silverado service manual. For $10-$15, you can buy the ~10K page factory...

11 tahoe brakes on 02 silverado

Yeah the 2020+ 4piston fronts are an option. The video posted by Partsman57 in here is great and sums it up. I posted info on the shim, but you could probably go into your hardware store with your dial caliper and find something so you don't spend $15 on a few washers...

11 tahoe brakes on 02 silverado

The NNBS suv uses a larger rotor and a smaller caliper, its not an upgrade. The NBS suvs use a 13" rotor vs your current 12.8, and a slightly larger pad. The NBS SUV is an upgrade but not by much, and its the only factory rear upgrade option. The fronts are the NNBS upgrade. If your 02...

Recovering seat and need help with seat warmer

It could use a few more pictures of a few things. I'll get those next time I go hunting at the man mall, and should be able to add a few more things to it too, then start a new thread.

    Front brake upgrade

Or someone who has it done to show up at a car show, pull the wheel with it up on a jack stand, and let people test their wheels. There is one at Texas metroplex March 5th. Convoy Showdown Its been a while sine I've been to a show, but here's their facebook page. Heck, If I thought I was...

    Front brake upgrade

Yeah, the shim is going to center the caliper so it works better and wears evenly. The downside is its pushing the caliper that much farther out, and reducing the caliper to wheel clearance by that much. Shaving the calipers might help if needed, but I wouldn't do it. If those shims are...

    Front brake upgrade

The measurement is supposedly a "hair" off. I have read some have used as is, and some added a slight shim to center it correctly. Those running as is, claim it's working fine. I think at this point, no matter what its too early to tell. If I ever put it on mine, I will want the shim.

    Front brake upgrade

Yeah, they will work. They are about the same price as the NNBS brake upgrade. The problem is the wheels that are needed to fit over the calipers. The NNBS brakes will work with 17s. As for the 4 piston caliper.. So far: 1: OEM NNBS LTZ20s. Fit with a 1/4" spacer or serious caliper...

Which is correct spark plug? 2006 5.3

Old thread, but The Iridium plug, 41-110 (with a .040 gap) was the originally installed plug when they started the NBS/Gen III LS. I think it was in 2003, but at some point early on, they changed the plug to the platinum and it became the superseded part number. The platinum plug 41-962 has...

    Seal on roofline?

Old thread, but for the record, there is access to the cab through the third brake light. There is a clip holding the rear of the headliner up that you can get to if you remove the third brake/cargo light (not sure if you can take it off through the cab, but the headliner is delicate, and that...

    2500 front bumper cap

Just registered and first post, so forgive me if this is just too old, and this has been answered, but I was looking at doing a few things to my truck, and this is one of them. I couldn't find a cap in any of the yards so I just ordered one off ebay. $52 shipped. Part #15746399 The Grill...
