I've got an 01 sierra with a 5.3 that's having some starting issues and can't quite figure it out. The truck starts perfect for the 1st start of everyday and will start fine if it sits for less then 5-10 minutes, anything after this 5-10 minutes the truck will crank with no fire, turn the key back crank again with no fire, turn the key back 3rd or 4th time and it will burp and slowly come to life also helps giving it a little throttle when it burps. Even letting the truck sit for 6 hours it won't take 3 4 cycles of cranking but still won't start like it should, but every morning it seems to start fine. It doesn't show any codes other then 2 o2 sensors but I'm thinking those codes are for gutted cats??? Changed multiple parts with no luck, all I know is alot of dirt went through the motor as the filler neck was held together by dirt, but I've changed fuel pump and a few filters now with hardly any changes. Any help is appreciated
