Immaculate condition, low miles, never been towed with (doesn't even have a hitch!) just overall great. However, the HVAC mode actuator failed. I confirmed by pulling the old one (pain in the ass), opening it, and seeing the cracked gear. Bought a replacement and lord almighty I cannot get this thing back in. A huge part of it is I can't see what I'm doing so I can't seem to line up the plastic door levers for the recirculated air and defrost setting. And I can't see because the duct that blows air into the driver's side floorboard. Does anyone know how to get this thing out? It seems like I should just be able to pull down and out but there has to be a bolt I'm not seeing. I did pull out the equivalent vent on the passenger side that was bolted in thinking maybe that was the issue but no luck.[ATTACH=full]4585[/ATTACH]Also, does anyone know what this sensor is attached to the duct? I'm worried I was a little too rough on it while trying to get the duct out. It looks like it's part of the same wiring harness for the door actuator.
