4wd issues

I have a 06 silverado 1500 4x4 with a manual shift t case. ... In the winter on snowy roads when i use 4wd the issue is when i accellerate heavy the truck seems to hop in the front and pull me from side to side... The 4wd works good engages good. It drives straight and i maintain the truck regularly. Every other truck ive had has handled excellent in the snow but this one is pretty bad. 2wd its fine on the road. My dads truck has auto 4 and it handles awesome. Could someone maybe provide some insight as to what the issue might be? Thanks

what are you running for tires?

I run stock size 265s in the winter time. "Pizza cutters" in summer i put nicer wheels with 285s on
