The reman one made it 10 years or so, but it was on its last legs. These trucks mainly came with either an ad230 or ad244 alternator. The early year ad244 was rated at 130 amps while the later trucks got 145 amp ad244. This Bosch is rated at 130 amps and was quite a bit less expensive than the 145 amp Bosch. With the 20% off online order code through The Zone it was cheaper than many options on RA, with free shipping and a lifetime warranty. New, not reman. Now, my 04 has crank windows and manual locks, so I took a chance and figured my WT model didn't need the additional 15 amps. It has been installed for about a month now with no issues to report.
