You are completely correct, this is not an OE Bosch style unit. The one I installed is Bosch made copy of the OE Delphi AD244. New and manufactured in USA, which was sort of a surprise. I've leaned towards bosch the past few years as others quality has fallen off. They seem to make good quality parts, or at least put quality in the box. I installed a Bosch fuel pump assembly in the 03 Mustang that had a Walbro stamp right on the hanger. The strange part about this aftermarket Bosch AD244 variant is that it is not listed as compatible with my 04 anywhere.
