Yes, it's possible to swap a cateye from into a Tahoe/Suburban. I've seen a few swapped around here: https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-tmus-us-rvc3&sca_esv=9c7ec454ad9eda0c&sxsrf=AHTn8zqz9xhcK4PJgLk4h5Hl6eImBJTwUw:1745494036948&q=cateye+tahoe&udm=2&fbs=ABzOT_A-D3gqhGpKey3m541in_a4evouXlxf0ztaDDubgyT0ES35hj4GhQ5f9qJAc4Wc86ccvTWWt3MfhlpEKePodWHjf_limAOLVHo6WBysYN-FO-ucXQZaQWzzdlxyhNbT4m2aTpCcXfe-BUOSD-AE01QANrttOgjhQPDBOZ2nSScr6Ju-1vvwMNxELlcdv6PXUpOpCUqqah5KzYcWtFq8xnxG79we8S-xhDYXUy7pXvnpQf-cJqc&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj2sZ6AyPCMAxWDIkQIHRlTBR8QtKgLegQIGRAB&biw=412&bih=767&dpr=1.75 And in Mexico GM actually did produce SUVs with the cateye clip. I'm not sure why they kept the bubble front clip on the 03-06 SUVs in the States TBH? The one I always forget about is that all 1500 Silverados in 2006 got the HD clip. So basically GM swapped an HD clip for free on the 1500 06 and 07 classics. Pretty cool.
