Driveshaft Carrier Bearing

How much wiggle is acceptable in the rubber housing? This one has about 3/16” movement up, down, side to side with little effort. It feels like the gap is all between the rubber donut and the steel housing.

If it's not vibrating and it's still captured, it's "okay". 1/4" of play is where I replace carrier bearings. At 3/16", I'd order a new one to have on hand.

I replaced the one on my 1999 1500 and I honestly can't remember how much play it had, I just remember moving it and it "felt" like it was excessive. My truck had like 260k then and it was the original one.
