this will be a write up once the parts come in so i figured id just start it out now. im going to start off by saying i hate egr, i dont care about emmissions (sorry hippies) and i dont want gas back in my intake, so i was just shopping around and found the block off plate

i wanted to do it the best way, so i ordered a pair of shorty headers...... yes i know long tubes are better, so all you longtube people can get that out of the way, but i didnt want to have to play with the converter piping. and i needed a set without the egr flange, after contacting the seller and confirming they dont have a flange i ordered a set

they arent that great but it fits a budget easily, not to mention the same week i install them ill be having my truck tuned, im going to have the egr deleted and probably the rear O2 sensors. and because im already getting it tuned, im going to have the govenor taken off and see if he can squeeze some more out of the engine, between the headers, egr delete, and tune, im hoping to gain some noticeable horsepower
anyone have experience with egr deletes on this style truck?
i did the EGR delete on my 1997 and didnt have anything negative come from it, hope to start updating the write up by next weekend
