Display temp can be set for any temp. Observed symptom will be driver side hot and passenger side at or close to set point.Cause:Driver side blend door actuator failure.Correction:Perform HVAC relearn procedure. Pull ECAS fuse 10a from under hood box. Pull HVAC fuse from interior fuse box. Wait 2 minutes.Reinstall removed fuses, Key on, wait 2 minutes. *Recalibration occurs here*Start engine, ops test repair *hopefully this resolves the issue. Mine did notRemove and replace drivers blend door actuatorLocate actuator on bottom of HVAC box near centerline of vehicle.3 screws, 5.5mm socket shallow 1/4 drive required due to clearance between actuator and floor.Remove actuator and disconnect (my issue takes a direct flight to hell here)Replace actuator and connect wiring.Perform recalibration procedure outlined above.We've all done this so far too, without the flight to hell. Worked good and lasted a long time.So, the reason for the post is whats to come. What happens when you do get an unplanned free trip on that damn airline to a place you don't want to be.So, what happened....[ATTACH=full]4669[/ATTACH]Remove actuator, mind you 200 miles from home in the autozone parking lot, with the wife and daughter!  This was supposed to be a simple fix......Notice anything wrong here?  Yea, for some reason the new actuator isn't going to help me anymore......[ATTACH]4670[/ATTACH]Well hell, that's no good. Drive it home, baking in my own sauce, cause when I force that door to blow cold, a good bump and "WHAP" it's moved, back to hot....Ok, soooo.......how to fix this.  I'm really not interested in HVAC box removal.  Don't have the time at all, and really don't want to.  I'm busy (lazy) damn it, I don't wanna!!I will update this thread as the solution plays out.
