I have a 2003 sierra 1500 slt truck which has the center console, Bose ,full power leather and heated seats. I am going to be buying a 2005 2500 crew cab Silverado which has cloth and no console. I know you can swap the center console easily and from what I read I can take the heated seat controls and they will plug right into the power window control module. My question is with the seats, is the wiring harness the exact same between the 1500 and 2500? Do I need a different BCM module? I am also planning to take my steering wheel with radio controls from the 1500 and put it on my 2500. I will get the 2500 clock spring and use the 2500 airbag since its a one wire unit. Also when I finally finish this swap does anyone know what exactly I need to tell the dealership to do to have the audio controls work, heated and memory seats as well?
