I have this posted at GMT400 but I should post it here too. This is the Jolly Green Giant, bought it to build.
The day it came home.

Found a donor truck and drove it home too.

Fixed this and a few other items to get it driving better. My plan it to finish it and work out all the issues, then build the original motor to a 383 if time and money allows.

Also have a clean bed and topper for it, the bed will be next year. I will paint it first then get spray-in bed liner. Still looking for a clean tailgate.

No back window bit me in the butt! But, this is an Alaska problem with rusty floor boards. For 6 months of the years people get in with snow on their boots and it melts on the drive, never really gets warm enough to dry out and people salt driveways and sidewalks so this happens. Anyways, starting to strip it down so it can get the grey interior.

Second row seats do NOT bolt in, do you think I can modify the seat frames enough to make it work?

I adapted a set of GMT800 3rd row seats to fit my '78 Suburban. The folding feature is really nice to have. You might consider making mounts that allow the second row to still fold forward so you can set stuff in there without messing up the seats. Would make for a neat conversion.

That's is what I am hoping for, we shall see.

Some of the interior changed. Rear seat base will get pulled, cut down, and painted grey this summer, just not enough room in the garage right now. I took the front bench frame and built a cushion frame for the second row suburban seats. Carpet is a cheap single cab one and a roll of black to finish off the back. Think work truck not resto!
Power doors, dash, steering column is the next project.
