For good reason. The 800's are the most dependable. The GMT900's and newer have problems, especially since the AFM came about. There is also the very large recall of the 6.2 engines for the most recent years. It is crazy and people are finding out that the more "goodies" that the newer years have, the more problems they have.If you own a GMT800 truck/SUV, you are ahead of the game.</blockquote>
