Bought a new driver's seat cover from the Seat Shop in Plano, TX. The old one is torn length ways and starting to crack vertically along the side. The P/S looks like new. I have a friend that is retired upholstery shop owner, here in Eugene, Or. Met him years ago and drank a lot of beer with him over the years. He said, "Remove the seat assembly and bring the seat and cover and he will set me up for No Charge! I think I could have done it all but he is a pro and will build up the driver's seat side foam where it breaks down over the years from my big ass sliding out of the seat. He also said that sometimes the seat pan gets cracked and he will weld it if needed. I will do pics of the before and after.

I would have more pics of my Tahoe in here but it just doesn't break. These 2 pics are pretty soon after I bought. there was some slight length ways cracking on the driver's seat, from front to back, that cannot be seen in the pic.

The Seat Shop covers are great! I replaced the lower covers on mine - before and after below. Also bought the driver side foam and new heaters. They did not have the passenger side in stock.

I pulled the seats and did the replacement on a work bench. Not difficult, but there are a good amount of wires that you need to work around. Then cleaned the seat backs with a good interior cleaner and brush. Very happy with the results!

Cool! How much are those? I'm gonna have look them up.

Plano is local to me :)

Check Theseatshop.com. 801 Klein Road Suite 300, Plano, TX 75074 - Not sure if they take walk-in's or not? :D The Leather bottoms are about $225 each. You can get Vinyl also. They regularly have sales. They sell the replacement foam and heaters as well.

I would love New covers, but nobody seems to sell my color.
I had previously ordered a couple that was stated as being correct, but sadly wasn't. Then was a bitch to return & get a refund.

Mine is kinda like a peanut butter color.

Looks good! Unfortunately, no one seems to carry covers for the BENCH seat on my 2006 Silverado, and certainly not in the grey fabric I have from Chevrolet. I've got the 40/20/40 split bench, with a central section that does not move, and has no folding console. NO ONE seems to sell the covers for that - just the bucket seats with center console on GMT800. I can find foam for the seat, but not the back on the drivers side.

Of course, my 1996 Cheyenne C1500 is worse. It has a 60/40 split bench and the 60 is on the drivers side. No console or folding section. No one sells seat covers or upholstery for it. Just the older 40/60 split, or the bucket seats the 1996 Silverado had.

Call Seat shop and talk to a tech. He will want your interior color codes. They are at the bottom of the code sticker in the driver's door jam
There are no codes on the sticker in my door jam.

The RPO tag melted off my glovebox before I got the truck.

But the tag on the back of the door panel say that the color is Medium Oak.

In the past, I ordered from a few different vendors who listed having 99-06 Medium Oak. It ended up being a lighter color similar to an 04 Silverado.

Last I checked, the seat shop had my color, but the wrong leather pattern.
