O3+ tail lights in a 00?

I like the look of the newer tail lights (the ones with the protruding circles) are they a direct plug and play?

I think it's the light sockets that are different, where they plug into the block under the bed is the same

I do too. I've got to try and trade my old taillights for a passenger side new style though. The one I just put in has a busted lense

I wanna say the whole assembly, housings, bulbs and pigtails was like $90 a side

The housing bolts right up. the harness/pigtail is different at the housing. The 03+ tails have a 4th bulb (small wedge 194) in the bottom outer corner. It is a running light and alternates flashing from the main flasher. From what I have seen, the harnesses have doubled in price since I have done mine. Looking at about $50ish a side, which is about what I paid for both at the dealer.

On a side note, I love how they look on my '99 Sierra compared to the old ones.

Don't worry too much, what you can't see in the picture is the bed cover, roof and hood clear coat is non exsistent! lol

One day it will get repainted.

The #s I have are,

016531401 and 016531402.

Not sure if they are still good or not, I bought them back in 2010. And I paid $55.67 total (including tax). Last I heard from a buddy that worked in the parts department at a dealer, they were like 50-55 each. But that also was a couple years ago.
