SAE vs. Metric tool usage

I am on the lookout for good quality Snap On and Mac tools to buy and sell, all the time. Some sellers just don't get it that the SAE sockets and wrenches are just not as valuable as the metric sockets and wrenches. I have complete sets of SAE sockets and wrenches but they are lonely from not using. If you own or work on older vehicles, like Car Clubs, then the SAE tools do get used but with everyday vehicles, not so mush. My metric tools use is 95% of the time. Sometimes an SAE tool gets used because the size is a straight swap. 5/16=8mm.

I know a guy selling an upper and lower big cabinets Mac Tool boxes set. He wants too much money because he does not realize or refuses to accept, that the uppermost tool storage area on his top box is at 72" and the trend is 2 and 3 tier lower roll around cabinets with a built in work bench on top.

Anyone else notice this?

I hardly ever use SAE on my GMT800 and newer vehicles.

I have 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 SAE and metric sets in deep and shallow, but can't see myself buying any more SAE in the future. Metric, yes: A road toolkit, a basic socket kit as a gift, lug nut sockets, wobble sets or mid-length sockets, among others.

SAE I really only use when working on older machinery like domestic-made air compressors and plumbing. It's like 2% vs 98% on my use.

I've been wanting to get me a set of something similar. I'm actually still using the standard Craftsman raised panel combination wrenches (from HS years) but have added a sae Wright set on a roll pouch and a few sae/metric flex head Gearwrench sets and recently bought a long ratcheting flex head metric set from Amazon (chicom brand something.)

I did buy a Husky rat ratcheting "flat" wrench set (non offset), but i never use it.
