I am from KC, Mo. and now get to see my Chiefs try for a 3peat.

I know, I know, not the correct forum for this but so many new members do not have enough posts and time to be in the Lounge. Gonna post my cheer here!

Go Chiefs!!! I have friends who are Chiefs fans, and I am an Andy Reid fan ever since Philly make the stupidest mistake ever by firing him. I will have to take a pic of Johns office next time I am there and post it, its wall to wall Chiefs stuff including real stadium seats.

I have seen Chiefs games in the old Municipal Stadium, in downtown KC and at Arrowhead Stadium. I was just a teenager when they went to the first SB and lost to Green Bay. Even when I moved to Oregon, I have been a Chiefs fan.

By the way, @Cadillacmak, that big block engine was sold today and is now in Wa. State.

Super Bowl seat prices.....$7k to $56k....
Football is becoming a rich mans sport! The common man cant watch them in person anymore, young families cant afford all the subscriptions you need to watch your team. And since its less and less free on TV, how many kids in the future will be NFL fans? I think the audience is shrinking and will continue to.

I completely agree with you.

Just a few days until the big game! I am a Jets fan, and the Jets made and won the first ever Super Bowl, now mistakenly called Super Bowl III. The Chiefs won Super Bowl 2 (I know, officially its IV) so I am patiently waiting for our comeback like the Chiefs had. But no... instead of hiring an Andy Reid, they hire a coordinator in hopes that they might become something. So, I am cheering on the Chiefs, who like my Jets, went forever being a so-so team.

For those who don't know, Joe Namath (Broadway Joe) hyped the championship game so much in the press, that the press named it the Super Bowl. There were no Super Bowls before the Jets played in the championship. Also they were going up against the great Johnny Unitas, whom I still consider the greatest quarter back ever.

Jets fun facts: 1. Namath was the first QB to throw for 4000 yards in a season, the Jets have never had a QB do that since even though its happened hundreds of times. 2. The Jets have the longest playoff drought in all major league sports. 3. The Jets hold a bunch of NFL records, most of which are terrible records to hold!

Yea, the Chiefs "matriculated" right down the field. I lived in KC, Mo. then. Still miss the BBQ in that town. At one time, the best BBQ in town was at KC Chiefs player's restaurant called Bobby Bell's BBQ.

I wanted the Chiefs to win but I told anyone who asked, that I felt the Eagles were the stronger team. IMO, it was a forgone conclusion that the Eagles would win. Defense wins championships.
