Having had a 2001 Suburban with 4.10 and now a 2005 Yukon with 3.43, I think I agree with you. The Suburban, with ~500 lbs more mass, was way quicker off the line. I think the Yukon will pass vehicles better at speed, probably because it can stay in gear longer, has more HP, and less weight...- JorgeS

I would try the repair myself before sending it. The repair is VERY easy, and takes little time (probably less than you'll spend boxing it and shipping it). If you have any experience at all with a soldering iron, you can do this. Mine had the issue, and the repair procedure solved it. The issue...- JorgeS

Lift Vibration Issues
No expert here, but some ideas to help narrow down possibilities, by eliminating potential causes... Raise it on four jack-stands. In 2WD, you should be able to turn each front wheel without anything else rotating. Turn the rear driveshaft, and only the rear wheels should turn. This should help...- JorgeS

Nicely done; it looks good. I'm not familiar with "faux alcantara"... what is it? Sort of short fur? It looks like it was stretchy enough to contour properly. What adhesive did you use? -

Hello from Indiana Niclas. I'm jealous of how clean your truck is - very nice! Just curious why you need a heater for cold starts? Where I live the temperatures get to -21C every year, sometimes as low as -27C (and on rare occasion -31C). I have not had trouble starting. At the low temperatures...- JorgeS

Engine hours meter reset question
No PTO, but I've been known to start it and let it run for 20+ minutes at high idle in the winter, when I don't want to take it out to "exercise" it because of salt or ice. I try to run it at least every 6 weeks or less.- JorgeS
