    Well, now i am going to have to look when i change oil from now on. Hopefully its magnetic and i dont know because its never had filings on it.

    i made a line, and by made i mean i brought a pre made line and made a j shape to go into the abs controller and then had the local shop make a line to poke down the frame, and joined the two. It doesnt look pretty, but its mostly in the right place.

    5.3/ no i wasnt smart enough to look at the oil before i dumped it. i could probably identify the oil filter and cut it open though

    Last week the 03 Silverado 1500 gave a low pressure warning. I stopped, made sure nothing was leaking and drove home slowly the 3 remaining miles. I changed the oil as it was almost due and it took a long time to register oil pressure. My question is, sensor or real problem? Or just change...

    That makes sense, its been a bear trying to get through there. i managed it once and when i tried to form the U turn while lying under the truck i kinked it

    Has anyone here replaced the line from the ABS controller to the rear axle before? Pre formed lines or made your own? I am having trouble making the u turn into the controller. I dont think i could force a pre formed one between the tank and the frame.

    One of my trucks was such a tight fit i never did get the c clip in. Gave up, put it back together "for now" and it must have been 10 years since! Probably not the recommended way though.

    i am sure something i drove in the 90s, so it was 70s or 80s vintage had a light on top of the fender pointing back that was just a turn signal repeater so you knew it was on, or something

    I'm not sure how foggy Norway gets but if its anything like the UK i say amber. But now you've made me wonder what happened to the lights american cars always had cut into the side of the fenders front and rear.

    Well that seems easy enough. I should probably take the mirror off and see if i can get the temp/compass working again too.

    My dads 2003 c1500 Silverado has a curious problem. The PRND21 display is super dim. To the point that on a sunny day you dont know what gear you are in. All the other displays are as bright as they should be Anyone else had this problem and know whats going on?
