I love my jumpseat. The flip up console/armrest and ability to stuff 9 people in my Tahoe is pretty useful. When my wife and I are up front, sometimes one of the doggos likes to sit in the middle. -

It cannot do engine hours, I don't think. My cluster reset that on its own sometime since I bought it. It can do odometer correction, stepper motor calibration, basic function check, and add trans temp. You can also do a custom startup message, but I haven't played with that at all. There’s no cable on a TH400. Kickdown is actuated by a 12v input on the side of the trans. I plan on using the AC off command at WOT to activate the kickdown.- Tonimus

TH400 requires no controller. No problem. It may have been easier to drop in a running driveline, but it’s not what I wanted. It’ll eventually be a turbo engine, and we’re already set up for TH400s and 4L80s. TH400 is also known as a 3L80.- Tonimus

Since I "discovered" ni-cop brake lines, I do all my own lines. It's cheap, easy to use, and very corrosion resistant. Combined with a good flare tool, you're set to do anything.- Tonimus

Welcome to the forum! There's a lot out there with swapping from a 4L60 to a 4L80. A well rebuilt and cared for 4L60 is plenty strong. Yes, and with the tools I use, it is shockingly simple to correct the reading. If I had to replace the whole cluster rather than modify my own, I would have had to correct the reading.- Tonimus
