Old pump was toast. We did get it fired after a wicked fuel leak. Noisy lifter. Quieted down a bit after an rev-up tune up. Pulled the upper accessory bracket so we could get at the bypass hose. New water pump, thermostat, and housing. Bypass hose is next, along with the missing heater...- Tonimus

Lots of people have put them in the end cap of the Z71 roof rack. They kinda face down, too. Looks sharp. -

You're correct about swelling, which is why I suggested motorcycle cable lube if it was going to be done. Those are formulated to prevent breakdown.- Tonimus

Some loose 3/4" sockets can be around 19.5mm too. I've done that on some that are slightly swollen. -

Cable lube is common in the motorcycle world. You can use it, but it shouldn't be needed. The parking brake springs should be sufficient. If they aren't your shoes are hung up in the drum. Grandpa's '92 Dakota
Short term is to get it running. Eventually want to swap a LS variant into it and make a quick little street truck. It has a 6.5' bed. The pic is a strange perspective, but it is a few inches longer than the Tahoe.- Tonimus

I believe so. You can repair the crack with fuel line. Cut at the crack, slide the fuel line over and use that as an outside repair. Not the greatest fix, but easy. -

Makes sense. Not so much out here in the desert southwest, I'd think. But I would definitely try cracking it open and taking a look. It wouldn't surprise me if there was obvious corrosion. Might be lucky enough for it to be in a place that can be cleaned. -

8 snap hooks around the perimeter hold the housing together. After you remove the bottom cover, you will see the first PCB. It is simply supported by pegs and has an easy dupont style interboard connection. It just lifts out. The inner PCB is the "difficult" one to remove. It has 8 clips... -

It is actually one switch body. It is held together with the clips on the other side. They are clearly visible. There's no need to mess with the mechanical switches at the top, so take it apart upside down. It came apart easily. IIRC, the PCB was held in with little clips as well, but the same... -

My OEM window switch was no longer sending the driver's window down automatically. It hasn't worked since before I got it, so I didn't even know it was a thing until the passenger one went all the way down with just a bump. Got an Amazon replacement and installed it. Sad trombone noise. The... -

Welcome to the group! I've got a little lifter tick, but goes away pretty quick on start. I think I also have an exhaust leak now, which doesn't help. As to oil pressure, at idle my Tahoe can go down to 25. It's almost never above 50, even under load. I pulled my Camaro from Phoenix to Tucson...- Tonimus
