Door latch not flipping open all the time
They're not too bad. Pull the door card, disconnect the inside and outside handle rods and the lock rod. IIRC, three screws hold the latch in place. Remove and replace. Reconnect rods and reassemble. Trap for new gamers is not making sure the outside door lock engages correctly on the latch... -

Lower valence panel
Around here, I've only seen them on 2wd half tons. They don't do anything other than hide your undercarriage :eek: from the front. -

Throttle Actuator Control Module
I think the misfire calculator is partially dependent on TPS percentage. If that was wrong, it may not have been able to see it. Glad you were able to get it figured out. Also good to document that a spark plug wire can cause TPS/ throttle issues.- Tonimus

Throttle Actuator Control Module
I believe 2 hours without the battery connected will reset both the throttle body position and the pedal position sensors. Overnight should definitely clear those parameters.- Tonimus

First, welcome to the forum. If you recently did the O2 sensors, check your live data on fueling. Fuel trims, O2 readings, etc. Could be just flat out too lean or rich and when loaded it dies.- Tonimus

Sorted out some electrical issues. Butt crimp failed, causing a fuse to blow. Same circuit powers the gauges. Replaced fuse, new heat shrink style butt crimp and all that is right. Car fires right up. It is so satisfying. Added a nitrous filter, pressure gauge, and ball valve.- Tonimus

K3500 Build
I adapted a set of GMT800 3rd row seats to fit my '78 Suburban. The folding feature is really nice to have. You might consider making mounts that allow the second row to still fold forward so you can set stuff in there without messing up the seats. Would make for a neat conversion.- Tonimus

Back in the shop! Old coils on the front: New coils that sit like 4" lower: My very old Holley Blue fuel pump died. Replaced with a nearly equally old Barry Grant. Luckily we had new fittings and o-rings on hand. I also got a race fuel shower. At least it's not as bad for your skin as...- Tonimus
