np241 from a V suburban or blazer would be the WRONG drop. Which can be reclocked, but i bet there is other differences too maybe
The tcase the OP has is also always spinning the front output, so the fact they both spin is not strange
The seals are for dust not water. You can use dielectric grease on them to make them more spongy so they don’t resist removal and rejuvenate them a bit for use. I’d avoid the silicone around the housing unless you have a water getting in problem like when you splash a hose at the housing.
Pre bent is why, the unions would be hard to seal with normal kits because of low quality of them , probably need hydraulic kit to do ss. The pre done ones are already done lol

The kit should be visibly tapped into the wiring for the blower motor and a module nearby if it’d intentional. Three 10 minute periods of no activity should have like 30 seconds of blower motor. The other option is you have a failed blower module and it’s running randomly.
