Here it is in English so that others dont have to translate it. Stutaeng said: "The small indicator for the airbox condition was also removed. I don't remember exactly when that happened. Perhaps that was only the case with the 1999 to 2002 models? Only my '99 still has it. You can simply...

While true, you still gotta keep an I on the fluid levels.

    Diff Leak

In a rust-belt state, yes, that's excellent rust protection, but also needs a good balancing act to not cause problems. As seen in the picture, the truck is pretty clean for it Age. I'm going to replace the seal as a preventative measure. I'll also service the rear diff at the same as I truly...

    Problem with steering wheel controls

Did you figure out the problem??

    Diff Leak

That's pretty dry compared to mine. I found this today. 2000 w/ 140k miles. Another job to add to the list.

Verifying that these rims fit & thoughts on looks

Now, for the after drive pics. I drove down my neighboring crappy 20mph road doing 45mph. Then came back to my cul-de-sac & made several passes in a circle at full-lock in both fwd & reverse at 10mph. I wonder if my neighbors are wondering what im doing? Lol. Rear of the front liner. Notice the...

Verifying that these rims fit & thoughts on looks

Before driving for verification. Rear of front Wheelwell liner. Notice the line on the right side. Front of front Wheelwell liner. Notice the line on the left side. Again, this is before driving. Maybe the stock 26yr old suspension is worn & the stock size tires on stock rims were touching on...

Verifying that these rims fit & thoughts on looks

Full lock to the left. Plenty of room at the rear. Barely any room at the front. There is some flexibility in the liner, so maybe making something to force the opening bigger? I'll drive on my neighboring crappy road 1st, then I'll look for any signs of touching on the liner.

Verifying that these rims fit & thoughts on looks

Full lock to the right. Plenty of room at the front. About an inch from the edge of the tire to the wheelwell liner.

Rear Front Funny enough, both of my bump stops seem to have disappeared.

Verifying that these rims fit & thoughts on looks

Here's the front. On its own weight. I still gotta turn the wheel to see if it catches anything? Yeah, I know, wrong lugnuts. I'll get the correct ones once I know for a fact that there isn't any issues with fitment.

Verifying that these rims fit & thoughts on looks

So i measured the front & rear wheelwell openings at the mid-height of the hub, they are 35in across. So fitting a 33in in the opening shouldn't be an issue as previously concerned by someone? Finally got a rear mounted. Plenty of clearance all around. This is with an empty bed. I should be...

O Ok, that's what I thought that you were talking about. My 2000 does have them. But the driverside is falling off. In all of these years working on them, I've never paid attention to that part. I've never noticed that some trucks might not have had those.

Are you talking about the flat seals running the length of the fender? Usually separated from the fender at the bolt that goes to the bar over the battery.

My new to me 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 ext cab

For the underhood light, I've previously taken it apart & cleaned it thoroughly. It's hit or miss if it works. If I tap it, it works. The oem part # is: 12450086 So instead of playing with it, I bought a brand new LED unit off of ebay. $16.50 shipped. Works like a charm.

My new to me 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 ext cab

Bought a tailgate assist shock kit off of ebay. $18 shipped. Not for me, but others that open my tailgate have a tendency to drop it, so my thought to help protect my truck vs yelling at people, was to put the kit on. Took maybe all of 5min to install. The provided instructions were easy to...

Verifying that these rims fit & thoughts on looks

Yes, see 14 My hub is about 3in lower than the hub of the '25 rim. Once mounted, it would lift the truck & increase the gap between the tire & the wheelwell. That's a given. But it might not be enough?

Verifying that these rims fit & thoughts on looks

Guess my only option is to start mounting them this weekend and see what happens. If they don't, I'll just resell them.

Verifying that these rims fit & thoughts on looks

You are the 1st person here or my daily run-ins to mention about the possible issues of the overall diameter fitment. It's mostly people talking about the rim fitment, I haven't noticed talking about the actual fitment of a tire when upsizing. It's been awhile since I've upsized, so it slipped...
