Again, this is before driving.

Maybe the stock 26yr old suspension is worn & the stock size tires on stock rims were touching on occasion?

I never tried full-lock with stock setup.

Now, for the after drive pics.
I drove down my neighboring crappy 20mph road doing 45mph. Then came back to my cul-de-sac & made several passes in a circle at full-lock in both fwd & reverse at 10mph.
I wonder if my neighbors are wondering what im doing? Lol.

So the end result, I think that I should be safe this 2025 setup?

Looks like you have a lot of room...Yeah, I have those standard lug nuts on my wheels too. SMH.

Maybe try to find a ramp or steep driveway where you can turn the wheel while flexing the suspension just to make sure you don't rubbing?

I was going to say this , i can see the tire obliterating the wheel well cover or touching the corner of the bumper if he reverses downhill out of a driveway while doing a full lock either direction turn , on the front

Barely any room at the front.
There is some flexibility in the liner, so maybe making something to force the opening bigger?

I'll drive on my neighboring crappy road 1st, then I'll look for any signs of touching on the liner.

you WILL break it unless you tie it forward. you can either bend the things it clips to or you can cearance it. but with the horn or lamp in the picture, and the AC lines down low, you may not want to remove it so no flinging things at them

Finally got my nuts, lol

The guy that I got the wheels from got ahold of the tire shop that installed his aftermarket set. They still had them, so picked them up. Saves me a chunk of change & not having to deal with the dealership.

With the 2000 lungnuts installed.

With the proper 2025 lungnuts installed.

Looks so much better.

, it states that GM says that the biggest 20in tire that we can fit on our trucks is the 275/55R20. I currently have the 2025 factory 275/60R20 tires. So my tires are slightly bigger than what GM recommends. Maybe I'm barely good or maybe not? Time will tell. I'll be going on a longer drive potentially this Thursday. I'll report back on my findings.

the minor height difference is going to probably be why you had rubbing concerns , so if it ends up not being too bad, one could minor minor lift the body or drop the tire size when its time to put new tires on. good to know it was close in size
