I think that depends on the tuner used, a lot of them license the computer so your stuck with that until the same programmer licensed changes it. I think programs like PCM Hammer can do it no matter what. Do you have the base tune file?- Cadillacmak

No, I haven't got back to that one yet. Poured a concrete slab, sold my camper, fixed some stuff on the 89 I am selling, and the job. Its nonstop right now but I will work it in. Its has a squeak too, kinda sounds like an alternator, need to get at that soon.- Cadillacmak

The hubs came with new sensors so I checked all the connections again and at the head unit under the truck, and checked wiring for rub/cuts. I should pull and clean grounds next!- Cadillacmak

New to Me GMT800? (Edit: Our New Yukon)
Did a full LOF and a transmission service on the Yukon last night. Used Mobil1 5w30 full synthetic and a Wix 51042xp filter for oil, Amsoil arctic red grease for lube, and Valvoline Dexron VI full synthetic and a Wix 58847 filter for the trans. I am trying to help a friend with their Explorer that runs bad, and when I plugging in my computer with HP tuner and tried to connect VCM scanner, it would only connect for about 5 seconds if it would connect at all.
