Concerning GM 6.2 recall and oil viscosity
ive always ran thicker than recommend. knock on wood I’ve never had an oil related failure. But I’m also the same guy that runs 15-40 in everything from my lawnmower to my 547ci alcohol big block.- DateNight

I correct myself. It’s the Mexican suburban that has the cat eye front end. Another cool thing is the gmt800 Tahoe in Mexico still had the L31 vortec 5.7, I want to say l31max on gmt400 had one for awhile.- DateNight

Dying bumper pad and valance
It wouldn’t be that hard. The gray doesn’t bother me at all. I will compare the two and dye the one that’s in the worse condition to see what it looks like. -
Dying bumper pad and valance
I went to a swap meet last weekend and picked up a really nice 99-02 bumper with factory plastics. I have some matte black dye to dye the top pad to make it look new again but I’m also thinking about dying the bottom plastics black instead of the gray. Any thoughts? I pulled the distributor to check the gear and it was pretty worn out. Looks to be the factory unit since it’s plastic. So I went ahead and bought a new distributor. Truck runs real well- DateNight
