Installed the posi and 4.10 gears yesterday. Turned out good. Also installed the gmt400 disc brakes on the rear to be able to run a 15in wheel. I put a few miles on it yesterday, the difference is night and day.- DateNight

4.10 gears and Eaton posi are on the way from quick performance. Hopefully they make it before Sunday. I would like to get them installed Sunday and get my OBS brakes installed so I can test fit the 15x10s and 275s- DateNight

More pieces to the puzzle… 275-60-15 for the rear, they will go on the 15x10s The fronts are 17x7, they showed up today also. 1999 extended cab Silverado 4.8/4l60e
you can only 99-02 will only work in 99-02 trucks and full size SUV, same goes for the 03-07 gauges. But, 99-02 gauges that have trans temp(Denali, Escalade and hd trucks) will work in a truck that originally did not have a trans temp cluster.- DateNight

I dread when stuff is shipped with fedex. I ordered a 3/8 ratchet and fedex lost it. Damn thing showed up on my porch a couple months later, box looked like it had been in a tornado. The ijdmtoy is the one I used. It was the perfect length if you want to pull power from the parking/running lamps. If you want to run them on a toggle i would buy the other. -

The headlights always stay illuminated on 99-00 trucks, that’s why you have to jump the two wires with a diode on the BCM. I forgot which wire I used on the parking lamp. There is three wires going to the plug, I used the one that was constant hot. I figured it out with my fluke. I will take a... -
99-02 vs 03+ road noise
I’ve thought the same when I compared my single cab to my 01 tahoe i had. But it was only a couple of years old when i owned it so it was still very new. Maybe a thicker pad under the carpet or maybe all the carpet, seats, headliner etc absorb a lot of the sound? -
