Not at all lol, but we don’t get bothered much if at all. My LBZ was darker and it was that way for a year before I sold it

Also got the windows tinted on my ‘72. 10 years driving a fish bowl was enough for me. Went 5% on the sides and back and 30% on the windshield. Absolutely love the way it turned out and I think it adds attitude to the truck

Just been driving it as of late. Did an oil change and greased the front end. Drove out to little Sahara and took this picture after changing my mom’s flat on her camper.

    Am I crazy?

I have to agree with this, back in 2019-2020? I bought a 2001 2500 in Salina KS. On the way home it lost a rear U-Joint at 9:30 at night. If I would’ve brought my dads truck and trailer I would’ve been home and not on the side of the highway debating my life choices

Not much has been happening with the LLY, been driving it. Need to change the oil. And I bought a set of knock off weather techs for it. For $75 they work and look great.

    Am I crazy?

When talking dealerships, my dad always told me “that man isn’t there to sell you that car, he’s there to sell you the one to replace the car you just bought”. And he’s absolutely right, we bought my wife’s 2016 grand Cherokee about 2.5yrs ago in OKC and about a year later it started misfiring...

Sunday I went out south of Ringwood to scout a potential spot to get on the river this summer. Had to go out that way Thursday on a Service Call and I crossed over this bridge that had what I would call a sand island. From the top of the bridge you can clearly see tire tracks from ATVs and such...

    ORVietVet 2004 Silverado K2500HD Crew Cab 6.0

When I had my 2014, I had one turn signal bulb go out. Took me 5 hours of finagling it just to get the damn headlight out. That and a long list of other issues is why I no longer own it

Well tonight I traded the 20x10s off for some 16” American Racing wheels. Been looking for a set of these for awhile but never found any in decent shape with good tires. My wife says it looks grandpa’d out but I like it

It’s funny you say that. I probably won’t do the bar but since I have a surplus of the 3/4” bullet lights I may end up sticking three under the tailgate. I’ve always broken the single bar on my other 1 tons so maybe having flush mounted lights won’t be an issue

Now that’s a lineup! I’m not really a fan of the 73-87 model trucks because literally everyone and their dog has one. But up here I don’t see many 67-72s running around. I like being the odd one out.

Thank you! The ‘72 has been in my family since 1973. Grandpa needed a new farm truck and he was a man who didn’t need much. It’s got a 5.3 swap in it, painted it in 2020 and most recently done the Vintage Air. Here’s a picture from before all the work was done Swapped to 6 lug, new bumper...

I still have to get you that picture of the harness. I haven’t forgotten, I’ve been slammed between work and installing a Vintage Air kit in my ‘72 C10. The C10 is done now I can concentrate on other tasks

It was actually a bottle of whiskey, I can’t remember the name. But now I use it to hold various liquids. Right now it’s got Hydraulic fluid in it when I serviced my coworkers tractor lol. I’m not much a drinker either, my teens was a different story however

Well I got the cab lights mounted. I still have to run the factory harness in the cab. Found some 10-32 rivnuts and 2” screws for the install. Going off my previous measurements of the 3500 at LKQ I was able to get them close if not spot on to where OEM has them. Pics as follows. Here they...

Well it took longer than I anticipated for them to come in. But here they are, these are the middle of the road lights I’ve found. Seeing them in person now I assume they’re exactly the same as the cheaper options I’ve found. So I could’ve probably cheaped out and been alright. Now to find some...

Yes all duallys got them as well as the quadrasteer trucks. Some 3/4tons did as my dad had an 03 he bought new that had them. I’ll have to snap a picture of the harness. Very simple two wire setup with a green plug

Well my search for OEM cab lights and bases has come to an end. I couldn’t find anything that wasn’t an arm and a leg so I opted to order some OEM looking lenses and bases. So we’ll see how they look and feel once they arrive

A few more details on the LLY, it had 220k on it when I got it, DSP5 switch on the dash, boost and pyrometer gauges, 45% injectors, studded with new heads and gaskets, LBZ mouthpiece and 3” charge pipes, drop in lift pump, new transfer case, rear end and a bunch of other stuff I’m probably...
