    Oil Analysis Choices

Never had UOA performed on the LQ4. I'm actually running Valvoline Restore and Protect right now. I use Speeddiagnostix.com on my LT1, since I was trying to determine if I could compromise and use DexosR 5w50 in both track and street scenarios.

If that's the case I'll refrain from showing photos of other fuel systems in my fleet. Plus its on opposite side of the vehicle relative to exhaust.

Correct, it shouldn't drop. However when the check-valve fails it will drop. It's a very common failure on these and unfortunately most end up just having to replace the entire unit to address the check-valve.

I looked up the part number on the blown toolbox struts and it overlapped with these lincoln hood struts. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DWYVSPL The check valve has failed inside the fuel pump sender assembly, but the pump is still good. I'll spend $30 on a check valve and add it in line.

SOLVED: Brake rotor run-out and hub run-out

I have the same mild braking shake in certain scenarios. It feels similar to uneven rotor wear / pad deposits, but hasn't cleared. It seems like I'll need to inspect these hubs/bearings and replace if needed.

Concerning GM 6.2 recall and oil viscosity

In my opinion the main take-away from the video is: Which he even mentions doesn't mean heavier is always better or even required. It's always based on application needs verified by data. I run thicker in a lot of engines based on oil temperature and/or pressure. -50 is something I'm running...
