I put kendall 20-50 in race engines, looser tolerances plus the greater crush. The 5-30, seems fine in this one, though I have used just straight 30 in work truck engines in the past. The vid says that they are using the 0-20 for economy reasons, and going to 0-40 for the crush. As far as I heard with people pulling the engines apart, oil starvation is the issue. I guess the 20 weight could be picking up aeration issues at the pump.
